A bridge of sorts between the Kansas and Missouri university campuses has been built out of a controversial incident. Last Friday, some University of Kansas students heard about a possible hate crime involving cotton balls strewn across the lawn of the Gaines/Oldham Black Cultural Center at the University of Missouri in Columbia. It happened in late February, Black History Month.
